Receiving payments via your bank account is probably the easiest and quickest way to get the grant; you can also avoid standing in queue at the post office in person.  According to the grant application, the monthly payments would be sent into the beneficiary's bank account.

Please be aware that in order to ensure that payments are sent to the relevant parties, the bank account information or mobile phone number provided for payment MUST be registered in the name of the accepted applicant used in the Covid-19 R350 grant application procedure. Incorrect information will be flagged when you do the status check. You should update your bank account information by going into the site if you believe it to be inaccurate.

Direct Payment Collection

People may pick up their grant money at Pick-N-Pay, Boxer, or offices of the South Africa Post Office (SAPO/Post Bank) in South Africa if they don't have any banking information. Alternatively, you might send funds through a bank mobile money transfer. Once you have received an SMS confirmation letting you know that payment has been confirmed, you can now claim the grant money.

Why Is My Sassa R350 Approved but No Payday?

Your status check may have been authorised, but you may not have yet received payment for a variety of reasons. People whose records show outstanding bank accounts, bank accounts that gave failed bank account verification, bank accounts that are awaiting verification from the National Treasury, or people who chose cash make payments are often among the authorised but unpaid. You could have had a smooth application procedure and yet be qualified for financial aid. Nevertheless, there have been ongoing issues with certain banks and bank accounts that are still being fixed and improved.
