A senior lecturer at the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), Nigeria, has viciously assaulted a 20-year-old lady after she, is said to have attacked his daughter over a man.

Dr. Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, who works in the institution's department of History and International Relations, was seen on video with his children abusing and stripping nude the young lady called Blessing Mathias.

Before she was assaulted, Blessing had confronted the lecturer's daughter, Emmanuella, for trying to snatch her boyfriend, identified as IG, sometime in the past week. This occurred after Blessing discovered that Emmanuella had the boyfriend's number stored in her phone and was chatting with him. Emmanuella had tried to snatch Blessing's boyfriend.

She had requested Emmanuella to erase the number, but she flatly refused, which led to a dispute between the two of them. She was seen slapping Emmanuella and beating her from a variety of positions as she demanded that Emmanuella erase the number.

A few days after the event, Emmanuella, together with her father, her father's brother, Praise Shola, and other people, broke into the house of Blessing and brutally assaulted her as a form of revenge.

Before coercing her into their vehicle, the family can be seen on video footage, beating her severely with various implements, including rods, a board, and a belt, among other things.

After that, they drove her far into the woods to an unknown spot, where the senior lecturer ripped Blessing's sleeveless shirt off of her body with a pair of scissors.

After some time, they forcibly removed her from the vehicle, snapped pictures of her, and then abandoned her in the woods.

The video has caused widespread indignation on social media, with many users taking to the platforms to demand that the Nigerian police apprehend those responsible for Blessing's assault.
