Black Sherif emerged as the dominant force of all the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2023 winners, securing a total of five accolades throughout the evening, including the highly esteemed artist of the year award.

Black Sherif emerged as the victor over Piesie Esther in the ultimate award category. Additionally, Black Sherif secured the titles of Most Popular Song of the Year and Hiphop Song of the Year, both in collaboration with Kwaku the Traveller. Furthermore, Black Sherif's music video for "Konongo Zongo" was recognised as the Video of the Year.

Sherif, along with Sarkodie, achieved the esteemed Collaboration of the Year award for their single "Country Side."

The awards show featured notable performances by renowned artists such as Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Piesie Esther, Ofori Amponsah, King Promise, and Kwabena Kwabena.
