The sole purpose of the portal is to facilitate account creation and login for facilitating various academic processes, including but not limited to: course registration, fees payment, result checking, viewing admission lists and statuses, paying acceptance fees, viewing transcripts, adding extra credit hours, deferring admission, and many others.

About Koforidua Technical University (KTU)

The Koforidua Technical University is one of Ghana's 10 Technical Universities, founded in all regions of Ghana. It began operations in 1997 and s ince 1999, it has been awarding high school diplomas to students who have completed courses leading to the HND in accounting, (secretaryship and management studies), marketing, buying and supply, statistics, and computer science.

This educational establishment is comprised of six faculties and one institute: the Institute of Open and Distance Learning, the Faculty of Business and Management Studies, the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Built and Natural Environment, and the Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences. Since the institution first opened its doors, the number of HND programmes it offers has more than doubled, from two to fourteen. There are a total of 12 programmes available, with 6 coming from the Faculty of Engineering, 6 coming from the School of Business and Management Studies, and 4 coming from the School of Applied Science and Technology.

It is presently offering Bachelor of Technology degrees for just two subjects; procurement and automotive engineering, in order to satisfy the strategic goals, it developed for 2010-2014. There are plans in place to include more classes. The Ghana Education Trust Fund, the National Accreditation Board, the National Board for Professional and Technician Examinations, the National Council for Tertiary Education, and the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training are just some of the organisations that back Koforidua Technical University. Koforidua Technical University also has the support of the Ministry of Education and its agencies.
