  • You should have registered and enrolled to undertake a program in the tertiary institution.
  • The Institution should be accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB)

  • Nurses/Teacher Training Colleges
    • Colleges of Agriculture
    • Polytechnics
    • Technical Universities
    • Universities
    • Certificate awarding tertiary institutions

  • To Begin the scholarship secretariat online application process, first visit: www.scholarshipgh.com  
  • Then click on "Sign Up'' in the menu to Create an account on the scholarship portal in order to register.
  • Login with the account created and fill the Ghana scholarship secretariat online application form on the portal with the required details.
  • Upload your academic qualifications, admission letter(s), academic certificate and all necessary documentation in PDF format.
  • After completing the online scholarship application form, you may have to complete an online aptitude test.
  • Those who pass the online aptitude test will be scheduled for a selection interview in their district.

Ghana Scholarship Secretariat Scholarship Process.

  • After a successful online application online, you will be required to do the following:
  • Take an aptitude test online to determine if you qualify for a scholarship or not.
  • Attend an interview in your selected district.
  • After the interviews, your information will be forwarded to the institution for confirmation and validation.
  • Electronic award letters will be then be issued to you by the Scholarships Secretariat.
  • The Scholarship Secretariat will finally make Payment of scholarship entitlements to your institutions.

  • Afterwards enter your email address and the password you used during the application process.

About the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat.

The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat is in charge of managing all domestic and international scholarship programmes on behalf of the government. It was established in 1960 as an extra-ministerial organisation reporting to the Office of the President.

Human Resource Development, Employment and Productivity under the Ghana Shared Growth and Development Agenda (GSGDA) and Goal 4 of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) specifically addressing;
