In the men's 100-meter final at the ongoing commonwealth games, Benjamin Azamati narrowly missed out on a medal when he finished fourth in the race.
Azamati, who began in lane 1, was only pipped to
the podium. Even though he made a late charge, his slow start prevented him
from winning a medal.

10.16.
With a timing of 10.02 seconds, Ferdinand Omanyala
of Kenya won the gold medal.
The 2018 Gold Coast winner from South Africa,
Akani Simbine, came in second, while Yupun Abeykoon of Sri Lanka won the bronze
with a timing of 10.14 seconds.
On the other side, Sean Safo-Antwi did not qualify
for the men's 100-meter final.
