Private Legal Practitioner Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has expressed
worry over the current administration’s lack of control over the country.
According to him, from the way things are happening in the
country, there is all indication that the current government is not up to the
task as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) dictates the pace of governance.
The lawyer who is a known proponent of the governing political
party indicated that the NPP will regret their actions if they do not take
charge of the affairs of the country and leave it in the hands of the NDC.
“The NPP will regret. The things they are doing is uncalled
for and worrying. They are in Ghana as a governing political party but have
made the NDC in opposition, govern the country”.
“The NDC said they will show Godfred Odame where the power
lies, have you seen the majority talking? It’s the Minority especially, Muntaka
who is governing the country now,” he said on Accra-based OKAY FM.
The celebrity Lawyer said he sees power slipping away from the
hands of the governing NPP as the NDC is working extremely hard to ensure that
they take over after eight years of NPP governance.
