Methods and Codes to link NIN to Glo – Do you possess a Social Security Number (SSN)? Most likely, you don't. And it is because you are neither a US citizen nor lawfully residing in the US. The SSN is used by the US government to confirm the identification of those who are lawfully living in the country.

The Nigerian Identification Number (NIN) is used for the same function as the SSN. The NIN is used to link all of a person's data, whether they are alive or deceased, and to confirm their identity as a citizen or a person who is lawfully resident in the nation.

Everyone lawfully present in the nation needs to enrol on the NIN, according to the federal government. The federal government, working via the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has directed all telecommunications providers or operators in the nation to block or prohibit unconnected numbers as of March 31, 2022.

If you find that you can no longer utilise all of the Glo SIM's functionality, such as making phone calls, know that your SIM has been banned in accordance with federal government regulations. What can you then do? There is just one thing you can do: link NIN to your Glo number.

Fortunately, this instruction will teach you the methods or codes to link NIN to your Glo number.

How to connect NIN to Glo SIM

You don't need to worry if your Glo line has been blocked if you've registered for a NIN and obtained your special 11-digit NIN. You may unblock and make your Glo SIM unrestricted using your NIN.

The Glo NIN or USSD code, Glo NIN Portal, SMS, and NIMC MobileID App are the four ways or service codes to link NIN to Glo SIM.

  • After linking your number, Glo will send you a message to tell you if it was successful or not.

How to connect NIN to Glo (Via SMS)

Globacom has gone the extra mile to include the SMS method of NIN linkage to make it simpler for its clients. Sending an SMS is all it takes to connect your Glo SIM to NIN. To link or connect NIN to your Glo SIM via SMS;
