Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) Scam Alert.

The Students Loan Trust Fund says it does not charge fees for the processing of loan applications.

The organization made this known, in a statement on its website, titled, ‘SCAM ALERT’, sighted by GhanaNews.hrforum.uk.

“The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), wishes to inform all loan applicants that, no fees are charged by the SLTF for processing of loan applications.

“Applicants are advised to deal only with officials of the Fund and are at no point required to make any payments for the service.”

The statement further mentioned that, persons who are repaying loans should only use students loan trust fund (sltf) approved repayment channels on their website.  

“Borrowers who are making payments are advised to use only SLTF approved repayment channels on our website.”

All applicants are encouraged to visit the official website of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), as well as contact the official lines of the fund, for further enquiries and to report any acts of extortion.

“Please visit the SLTF website (www.sltf.gov.gh) for a list of all official phone numbers, including our zonal offices across the country.

“Kindly call 0302231886 or 0302231887 for more information, or to report any acts of extortion,” the statement added.
