Lionel Scaloni, the head coach of Argentina's national team, had
his players practise on Friday with a possible eleven set in place.
The squad that suffered a 2-1 defeat to Saudi Arabia may see some
changes under Lionel Scaloni. The back line will be altered, according to
Gastón Edul, since three of the four players that began against Saudi Arabia
would not start the match against Mexico on Saturday, 26 November, 2022.
In the first game, Marcos Acuña replaced Nicolás
Tagliafico as a substitute and would start against Mexico. Lisandro Martnez
was brought in to replace Cristian Cuti Romero, and Lisandro is likely to start
with Nicolás Otamendi.
The last alteration to the back line is, Gonzalo Montiel for
Nahuel Molina. Enzo Fernandez is expected to start in midfield in place of Papu
Gómez, although Guido Rodriguez or Alexis MacAllister might possibly make a
surprise appearance.
Lionel Messi, Lautaro Martinez,
and Angel Di Mara will start up front.
This would be the likely eleven: Emiliano
Dibu Martínez; Montiel,
Otamendi, Lisandro Martínez, Acuña; De Paul,
Paredes, Enzo Fernández; Messi, Lautaro Martínez and Ángel Di María.
