Quality of call service recently has been horrible-Sam George.

The MP for Ningo-Prampram, Honourable Sam Nartey George has lamented the poor quality of call service in Ghana, recently.

According to him, the National Communications Authority in any organized democracy, would have made public statements to address public concerns. He made this known on his Facebook wall sighted by GhanaNews.hrforum.uk.

“The quality of call service over the past few weeks has been horrendous and leaves a lot to be desired.

“In any functional democracy, the regulator, in this case the National Communications Authority Ghana would have issued public statements to assuage the concerns of citizens.

“They would have told us what steps they are taking to ensure that the Telecommunications Companies improve the service experience.”

He added that, the regulator in Ghana, is more interested in punishing citizens and making them suffer, other than protecting public interest.

He called on the CEO of the National Communication Authority (NCA), Joe Anokye to outline measures put in place by the NCA, assuring of an improvement in the quality of telecommunications services in the country.

“Alas, this is Ghana! A country where the regulator is more interested in punishing the citizens than ensuring they are protected from private interest.

“It is imperative that Joe Anokye and his NCA immediately outline to the Ghanaian public what remedial steps they are taking to ensure an improvement in call quality and the overall telecoms experience.  

“Enough of the lackadaisical behaviour! The customers deserve much better!”, the MP added.
