Veteran actor Psalm Adjeteyfio, popularly known as TT, has died.

On Friday, April 8, 2022, his son, Nii Adjei Adjeteyfio, confirmed the news to citinewsroom.com.

Nii Adjei claims that when one of his sons paid him a visit on Friday, his father, who was already suffering from diabetes and other diseases, was unconscious.

He said, he (TT) was rushed to a hospital in Dodowa, Shai Osudoku District, but the actor was confirmed dead upon arrival.

TT is well-known for his part in the hit television show "Taxi Driver." Mr. Psalm Adjeteyfio was recently in the headlines when he revealed his financial woes.

Poor working terms during Psalm Adjateyfio's busy acting days, according to him, are to blame for his financial woes.

He said at the time that he needed GHS3,000 to pay his rent or he'd be evicted from his present residence.

Mr. Adjeteyfio had stated that he was no longer getting acting jobs and that he was now unemployed. He said that his survival was dependent on the kindness of people.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and others, including Greater Accra Regional Minister Henry Quartey, rushed to his aid.

Apart from playing the lead in 'Taxi Driver,' Psalm Adjeteyfio has also been in films such as Papa Lasisi Good Bicycle, American Boy, The Chosen One, The Scent of Danger, and A Stab in the Dark.
